Title: Chocolate Cookie Squares

Yield: 24 Servings

FILLING
1pkChocolate chips, semisweet 300 g.
1cnSweetened condensed milk 300 ml
2tbButter
DOUGH
2 1/4cBrown sugar; lightly packed
2 Eggs
1cButter; melted
2tsVanilla
2cFlour, all purpose -OR-
2c-Wheat & Oat flour
1cPecans; chopped

FILLING: Heat chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk and 2 Tbsp butter together over low heat, stirring constantly until smoothly melted. Set aside.

DOUGH: Mix brown sugar and egg together in a large bowl. Add melted butter & vanilla, mixing until smoothly blended. Stir in flour & nuts. Mix well.

Spread half of dough into a greased 13" X 9" cake pan. Spread chocolate filling evenly over dough. Dot spoonfuls of remaining dough on top. Spread dough lightly with knife to cover chocolate. Bake at 350f for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown. Cool thoroughly before cutting into squares.

Helpful Hint: Precut bars or squares, wrap them in foil and put in airtight plastic bag and freeze. Then simply take out the number that you need.
